Stanley D. Baker, DDS, is a local boy, born and raised in the Modesto area. He attended Modesto Adventist Academy and was senior class president. He had always planned on returning to Modesto after his education and did so in July 1987, joining Dr. Fred Mantz at Greater Modesto Dental Implant & Oral Surgery Center. Dr. Baker is the director of the Modesto Study Club and has held this position since its inception in 1992. The Modesto Study Club is a study club of area dentists interested in comprehensive dental care and dental implants.
Dr. Baker attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, as a Biochemistry major. He was accepted a year early into Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his DDS. After completing his dental degree, Dr. Baker continued his education at the University of Southern California for his oral and maxillofacial surgery training. Dr. Baker received his board certification in 1989 from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Baker is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been recognized by the American Dental Association for outstanding contributions to the profession, and he is a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. In addition, Dr. Baker has a particular interest in dental implants and has been awarded Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Baker loves being married to his beautiful wife, Lori, and spending time with his family. Outside of the office, he enjoys tennis, cycling, hiking, and traveling.
